The
Vision Fitness X6600 HRT is their commercial grade model. Although I would be
reluctant to subject it to the daily rigors of a health club, this model should
hold up quite well in your home, which is what you would expect at this price.
Of course at $2,700 you need to check out the comparable Precor and Life Fitness
models. They are better known for ellipticals at this price range.
We
like the console and also notice that they are selling a model with a 12.1"
LCD flat screen TV console that is cable ready for internet connection. The price
below does no include that. You'll be seeing many more treadmills and ellipticals
coming out with this feature in the future. The standard console has the EASY-8™
continual feedback feature, allowing you to have feedback on 8 readouts at once.
At 287 lbs. you
can expect a solid and stable fee. The X6600 has heart rate control, heavy flywheel,
good selection of programs, reverse elliptical stride and articulating foot pedals.

Comments: Like some of the Precor and Life Fitness models this may be an overkill
for the home, but if you want the best then you may want to consider the X6600
elliptical trainer. We suggest you give this one a test drive before you take
out a second mortgage.
