True Fitness ESXt Elliptical TrainerTrue ESXt Elliptical Trainer

Price: $4,999

Bottom Line:The True Fitness ESXt offers a commercial quality twin center drive elliptical trainer designed for home use and adds a touch screen feature over the ESX model, all for $4,999.

Thoughts:The True Fitness ESXt elliptical trainer is an extremely well-constructed elliptical trainer. True Fitness based this design off of their commercial technology; therefore, the ESXt brings all the benefits of a commercial grade elliptical trainer to your home. With an electronic stride adjustment from 17"-26", 5setting handle bar adjustment, touchscreen display, 25 resistance levels, and over 10 preset workouts, the ESX offers a great set of workout features. Keep in mind, the dual center drive system does double the number of mechanical parts when compared to a traditional elliptical trainer, making maintenance more costly. The other problem with this machine is the price tag. Coming in at $4,999 the ESX elliptical trainer may be out of the average consumers price range. Also, the 7" touchscreen was a nice addition over the ESX model ($4,599) but hardly worth the $400 price difference as it was the only notable difference between the True Fitness models. Consider looking into other manufacturers such as Smooth Fitness or Life Fitness if you want a high quality elliptical trainer for less.
