Bottom Line:The Proform iSeries 785 F is an entry level front-drive elliptical trainer that offers mid-range features, but misses its mark on workout consistency and comfort, coming in at just under $1000.
Thoughts:The iSeries 785 F from Proform (an Icon brand) delivers a limited range of features in a compact front-drive system design. The machine has 14 convenient preset workouts with very little variation between each. The incline intensity ramp yields a nice workout change, but the mechanism for changing the incline is not user friendly. The elliptical motion was mediocre at best and, as we have seen with many Proform elliptical machines, the entire trainer would hop from side to side at medium-high pace workouts. All in all this Profrom iSeries 785F does offer some nice entry level features all for $999, but fails to deliver the key elements of quality workout equipment found in other brands such as Smooth Fitness and Precor.
