Proform ZE5 Folding Elliptical TrainerProform ZE5 elliptical machine

Price: $799

Bottom Line: The ZE5 by Proform (an Ikon brand) is a very entry level elliptical machine. Coming in under $1000, the price tag is good, the folding feature is nice, but the quality is lacking.

Thoughts: You get what you pay for with an elliptical. The proform ZE5 Elliptical trainer looks nice, and the folding feature is nice for space savings. However, the machine is noisy, and does not appear to be of the best quality. Also, Proform only offers a limited 1year parts replacement warranty on this machine whereas other manufacturers such as Smooth Fitness and Life Fitness offer a 5-7year parts warranty that includes a 2year labor warranty. The Proform ZE5 elliptical machine supports iFit Live technology which is nice, but if you're looking for something that will last more than a few months, we'd recommend moving up to something of a bit higher quality.
