Thoughts:The Proform 590 E elliptical machine offers up some basic features and a compact front drive system. However, this elliptical trainer still left a lot to be desired. This machine does not have the multitude of features seen in other rear-drive Proform machines of the same price and it still carries many of the same quality issues. The front flywheel system is a great feature due to its compact nature, but the drive system is very noisy. Also, the unnatural movement of the foot rails caused the entire machine to wobble from side to side as users got into medium-high workout paces. The Proform 590 E does have some nice features including, incline adjustment, iFit functionality, and back-lit display, but lacks the quality construction, comfort, and stability seen in other manufacturer's elliptical machines.
