Precor EFX 5.37 Elliptical
MSRP: $5,799
Bottom Line: Rear drive is a big plus, but coupled with the front incline ramp, this unit provides a very unnatural bunny-hop feel for any user over 5'4" in height. That said, this elliptical machine is loaded with features and is very well made.
Thoughts:The Precor 5.37 elliptical trainer brings a lot of features to the table including, a 13-40degree incline ramp, 15 workout programs, workout tracking, and 20 resistance levels. Precor has always produced some of the highest quality elliptical trainers, however, we were a bit disappointed with the discomfort users over 5'4" felt while using the 5.37. For a $5,799 this elliptical machine offers durability, a solid warranty, and the Precor name, but the body type limitations were a bit disappointing. We would recommend considering some other manufacturers such as True Fitness or Life Fitness if you are looking for a more versatile machine in this price range.
