The
Nordic Track CX 925 elliptical trainer is another Icon product and looks very
similar to the ProForm 880 S elliptical. It comes
with an 18" stride which should handle most users.
We
are not crazy about the console, it has only two small readouts and training zone
graph. Like most Icon products the CX925 is
iFit technology compatable. The CX 925 has 10 Quick Resistance buttons
on the console to change the intensity throughout your workout. You may find that
10 is not enough and that the levels of resistance change are to dramatic. The
foot pedals are not articulating on this model.

Comments: As we have noted with any Icon product you have to be concerned about
the quality of the components and how the machine will hold up under constant
use. At least with the Nordic Track CX 925 elliptical trainer you get a 1 year
warranty, rather then their typical 90 days.
The
Nordic Track CX 925 received some good reviews from customers on epinions although
one customer stated , "poorly manufactured in China, breaks first usage".
That is one out of seven. Others generally thought it was a good value for the
money and were able to purchase it for under $700. They complained about the console
being battery operated and that the batteries were not included. Big deal.
