NordicTrack Elite 9.1
Price: $1,999
Bottom Line:The Elite 9.1 from NordicTrack (an Icon brand) is a mid-level front drive elliptical let down by a noisy drive system and unnatural elliptical motion.
Thoughts:The NordicTrack Elite 9.1 features 20 preset workouts, iFit live functionality, and an adjustable stride length. We found this machine to have a very flimsy rail design, noisy drive system, and unnatural stride motion across all of the stride settings. While it does offer a surprising 325lb weight capacity, the resistance system seemed very inconsistent during medium to high paced workouts. Apart from these features and the Graffix display, this elliptical trainer is not very feature rich. We were surprised to see a machine at this price point offering such a limited variety of workout features while keeping the low quality construction we have seen with many NordicTrack elliptical trainers. Overall we'd say the NordicTrack Elite 9.1 offers poor value for money. Other manufacturers such as Smooth Fitness offer exceptionally well designed machines with even more features at around the same price point.

- Graffix display
- 24 preset workouts
- Compact design
Cons:
- Noisy drive system
- Lacking features for price tag
