Bottom Line:The NordicTrack AudioStrider 990 Pro is an entry level elliptical trainer that has a number of workout options and an adjustable stride length but is lacking in user comfort and quality parts.
Thoughts: This elliptical machine has an adjustable stride length, 16 digital resistance levels, and 15 workout presets which all add to user customization; however, the stride was uncomfortable at times and eventually caused pain in the joints and knees. The workout fan was a nice feature, but the speakers left a lot to be desired. Many of the heavily stressed parts on the NordicTrack Audio 990 Pro are made of plastic which is a serious concern for consumers looking to get long-term use out of this machine as it only comes with a limited 1year parts warranty. We found the drive system operated smoothly, but it was extremely noisy, adding an unwanted distraction to workouts. While being feature rich, we'd recommend looking past the NordicTrack AudioStrider 990 Pro if you are looking for a high-quality, durable, and comfortable elliptical trainer.
