Thoughts: The Life Fitness X5 elliptical trainer offers an incredible quality standard, a multitude of features, and a great workout experience. With an adjustable 18"-24" stride length, FlexPedal technology, and a set of challenging preset workouts, the X5 gives any user the tools to get in shape hassle-free. We were very impressed with the overall quality of this machine each piece of the machine was well integrated into the next and we got the impression the X5 would last a lifetime. However, it is important to consider the $3,599 price point of the Life Fitness X5 as other manufacturers, such as Smooth Fitness, offer elliptical machines of the same quality at a much lower price.
