Bottom Line: Fixed 20" stride rear drive cross-trainer with a relatively flat ellipse pattern which is great for beginners or seniors, but the asking price is high compared to other manufacturers.
Thoughts:The X3 Elliptical Trainer from Life Fitness offers some great features along with a comfortable workout. Some of the features include contact heart rate hand grips, whisper-eStride, stationary handlebars, dual accessory tray, and a variety of preset workouts. We found the elliptical motion of this machine very comfortable and ideal for body type. We were a bit disappointed with the 3year parts/1yr labor warranty considering the price tag of this machine. The machine is very heavy which allows for stable operation and signifies long lasting quality. Overall the X3 elliptical trainer from Life Fitness is a very well designed and well executed fitness product that would meet the needs of any home user. But, we'd recommend shopping around a bit as other manufacturers such as Smooth Fitness, offer elliptical trainers of the same quality for lower price.
