LifeCore V4 Stride Trainer
MSRP:$1,699.00
Bottom Line: The V4 front drive elliptical trainer from LifeCORE fitness delivers 16 levels of resistance, 4 user profiles, and 24" stride. We found this unit to operate decently well, but we were a bit disappointed with the feature set.
Thoughts: The V4 stride trainer from LifeCORE has a number of excellent qualities; however, it is missing a few key features we look for in this price range. We were disappointed with the quality of the stride. Despite being a huge 24" stride, we found there to be an uncomfortable "pop" towards the end of the stride. Users found this to be unnatural. Beyond this, we expected a better warranty at this price point. With only a 1 year labor, 3 year parts warranty on unit with this many moving parts, we worry about reliability. Still, this is a decently balanced front drive unit and has its own place in the market. We would recommend this machine if you like what LifeCORE has to offer, but remember there may be a better unit for your money out there.
