The
Horizon E51 is their entry level elliptical trainer. It lacks features that you
would find on comparable models. It has a small 16" stride length. There
are no programs and it has manual resistance adjustment., but it does come with
a handgrip heart rate monitor.
At
this price range if we had to choose between the Horizon and a ProForm elliptical
we would probably go with the Horizon. But we recommend you consider an elliptical
at a higher price range if you plan to get regular use out of it.

Comments: If you are looking for a stripped down model with the very basics at
a low price then the Horizon E51 may be your choice. It is being sold on the street
for $599. At this price range you can expect an elliptical built with cheap components
resulting in a less then perfect motion. You get what you pay for. If you are
looking to get back into shape and plan light workouts several times a week and
have a limited budget then this model is worth considering.
