Horizon CE9.2
MSRP: $N/A
Bottom Line:The Horizon Fitness CE 9.2 elliptical trainer is a step up from the 5.2 model featuring a larger 20" stride length, 20 resistance levels, and 11 preset workout programs. This machine is a decent entry to mid-level choice; however, it is not much of a step forward from the less expensive 5.2 model.
Thoughts:Horizon fitness offers a number of entry level elliptical trainers that are affordable for the home user; however, many of the units being offered lack quality strides paths. This is the case for the CE 5.2 and the 9.2. While the CE 9.2 has a longer stride it still lacks the quality elliptical motion one would expect at this higher price point. We felt the CE 5.2 is just as comfortable despite it only being a 18" stride. Beyond this the console, workout programs, and resistance system all met our expectations. While this machine is an upgrade from the 5.2, we will it is not enough of an improvement to warrant the larger investment. We would recommend looking into other manufacturer's in our review section that offer higher quality units at or around the same price point.
