Cybex 770AT Arc Trainer
Price: $6,595
Bottom Line:The Cybex 770AT arc trainer is not only a unique elliptical design, but offers a great workout. With reverse arc technology, a vibrant LCD touchscreen display, and 24 inch stride, this machine gets the job done, but you will pay well over $6,000 for it.
Thoughts:The 770AT from Cybex is a version of the most expensive unit currently being offered by the company. With 21 incline levels, eddy current braking system, and LCD touchscreen the 770AT is a well-rounded unit. We are always impressed with the quality of the stride Cybex technology provides, but the 770AT is not quite on part with other commercial grade units at this price point like Precor. We find the arc trainer technology to be more a question of preference rather than what is actually "better". Additionally, there are multiple manufactures offering solid elliptical trainers for a third of the money you will spend on this unit. Our only complaint about the 770AT is the warranty; it seems very thin for the investment you will be making.
