Cybex 362A Arc Trainer
Price: $2,999
Bottom Line:The Cybex 362A is the least expensive, entry level arc trainer being sold by Cybex. Still, with a $2,999 price tag, this unit falls more into the high end elliptical trainer market for home users. Featuring the Cybex arc trainer design this unit brings users 13 preset programs, up to 450watts of resistance, and a 300lb user capacity.
Thoughts:The arc trainer technology Cybex has developed is very unique. We have said before that we find the arc trainer to be very much a preferential technology. Some users really dislike the motion of these machines, while others swear by Cybex trainers. The 362A is the most affordable Cybex arc trainer currently being manufactured. This machine has the same feature set the 360A unit including 24" stride, adjustable incline, and wireless heart-rate monitoring. We like this machine; however, we suggest finding a way to try out an arc trainer before purchasing. To invest this kind of money in a technology that is a bit different from the standard elliptical design can be risky. Still this unit gets the job done despite the potential lack of versatility.
