Bladez Quantum
MSRP: $811.35
Bottom Line:The Quantum elliptical trainer from Bladez offers users 16 resistance levels, 16 preset programs, 18" stride, and oversized pedals. This is a substantial leap forward as compared to the entry level units from Bladez; however, this entry to mid-level offering still cannot compete with the likes of Precor, Smooth Fitness, or Life Fitness.
Thoughts:The Bladez Fitness quantum elliptical trainer presents itself pretty well. Giving users a lot of options with resistance, programs, and heart rate monitoring we impressed with how customizable the feature set really is on this unit. But, as seems to be the trend with Bladez units, we were very disappointed with the quality of this machines stride. Having a fixed 18" stride length as not the main issue, the elliptical path is just very awkward and makes working out on this unit feel unnatural. We would look past this unit and choose another manufacturer in this price range as there are a number of great options at this price point.

A decent machine on paper, but in reality this unit has a lot of flaws. It could make a decent light use unit. |
