For
the money you are getting a commercial grade elliptical trainer for the home.
I know a number of companies make that claim, but this is the real thing. The
EVO 600 weighs a hefty 201 lbs., giving it a very solid feel.
We've
tested this machine and found it extremely quiet. The eddy currently drive system
gives you one of the smoothest elliptical motions you'll find in this price range.
You will also appreciate the "ergonomic pivoting foot pedals." This
further increases the low-impact benefit of an elliptical by allowing your feet
to pivot with the elliptical motion.

Comments: One of the unique features on the 600 elliptical trainer is the heart
rate control grips on the moveable handlebars. For those that are not into wearing
straps on your chest, you can let your heart rate control the level of your workout
through the handlebars. As far as we know no other company has that feature.
We
particularly like the console. The design restrictions of an elliptical trainer
limits the space for a console and the display. EVO has managed to consolidate
the necessary display windows in a compact area.
It
should be noted that the EVO Rev-600 is built and serviced by Smooth Fitness.
They have a good reputation for customer service.
Based
on all of the above we recommend this machine and consider an excellent value
in the $2,000 - $3,000 range.
Rated
for moderate to light commercial use.
